Who We Are
Initially created by USAID in India, the QUEST Alliance is now part of the global Education and Employment Alliance (EEA). EEA is a three-year, US$10 million grant initiative of USAID to foster active alliances. In an effort to promote and expand proven programs serving children and youth, the alliances link and leverage the interests and resources of the public, private and civil society sectors in an effort to promote and scale-up proven and sustainable programs serving children and youth.
The International Youth Foundation (IYF) hosts EEA’s global secretariat. It is responsible for EEA’s overall program management and grant-making. In India, IYF also serves as the national secretariat for the QUEST Alliance. IYF ensures that all seed grants can be easily implemented, sustained and expanded. In addition, IYF builds the case to donors to fund new programs.
