Engaging Business in Youth Education and Employment
The Need: In a survey conducted by the International Youth Foundation (IYF), employers in Morocco said they seek more than technical skills. They seek life skills, such as an ability to communicate clearly and work in teams. Because these skills are rare, employers are willing to invest in their development. Companies are willing to make strategic, long term investments, but seek reliable, results-oriented government and NGO partners to ensure the relevance of education and training to the needs of the job market.
EEA Morocco Response: For more on what companies think youth need to be employable read a 2005 survey conducted by IYF. Engaging Businesses in Youth Education and Training
